Set Free is a Catholic Youth Festival for teens in Year 10-13. This festival seeks to provide young people, especially those who have limited involvement with the Catholic Church, with an opportunity to encounter Christ. There is great pride on behalf of the planning team in delivering phenomenal speakers and quality music in an atmosphere that is both professional and engaging.
PHENOMENAL SPEAKERS - Set Free has a long standing reputation of booking the best speakers from all over the world!
QUALITY MUSIC - Music is such a huge part of the Set Free experience, this year we are welcoming back the return of our very own Set Free Band led by Juanita Raman. Keep an eye on this space for us to drop our 2024 Set Free Playlist!
AUTHENTIC LIVE-IN FESTIVAL - Set Free is an authentic live-in festival and what has traditionally been marae-style accommodation is now fantastic dormitories.
COMMUNITY-BASED ATMOSPHERE - Set Free is the best opportunity for you to meet young people just like yourself and to be plugged into amazing community from all over Aotearoa. Catholic, non-Catholics, all-in for Jesus, or questioning God’s existence, this is the place for you. Bring a mate or make a new one, there’s always good vibes to spare!
GOOD FOOD - Food plays a central role in most cultures and as Catholics, meals are the core of our Christian community. Set Free has an incredible catering team that provides home cooked tea and breakfasts, and organizes the best of best for catered dinners.
